A sign of team unity came close to costing one Pennsylvania football team their season. Players from Easton High recently sprouted Mohawks to get pumped for the biggest game of the year, then the principal said told them to shave them off or get suspended. "It really started out with just a few people but then it became a symbol for us to come together as a team," senior Colin White said. "We just made the playoffs so we thought it would be cool to come together and do a Mohawk," senior Giovanni Simmons said. "He said if we didn't get our hair cut we'd get suspended and if we got suspended we can't play in the game," junior Steve Hultgren said. According to principal Bill Rider, the Mohawks broke the district's dress code policy, which strictly forbids spiky, pointed hairstyles. The students said their hair was barely an inch long.

Police Identify Fast-Food Robbery Suspect, Issue Arrest Warrant
TACOMA, Wash. -- A man believed to have robbed at least six local fast-food restaurants has been identified by police as Jack Hannah. Police issued a press release Wednesday naming Jack Hannah as a suspect and issuing an arrest warrant. Police say Hannah apparently struck again last week, holding up a Federal Way Dairy Queen in a robbery that was caught on surveillance tape. Surveillance video obtained by KIRO 7 Eyewitness News shows Hannah armed with a handgun, directing workers at the restaurant into a back room during the heist. It was the seventh robbery of a fast-food restaurant in Pierce or southern King counties in recent weeks. The description of the robber was the same in each case: He was an Asian man, 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with black hair, a buzz cut and a mustache.

Men looking for a decent haircut and shave have generally had two options: Head to the local barber or brave a female-focused beauty salon. Now, some new shops for men aim to offer salon pampering in a guy-centric environment - complete with ESPN and scotch. These manly salons also allow men to indulge in treatments once taboo, such as manicures and facials - but all with a distinctly male tenor. Instead of pastel-colored walls, there are wood floors, black leather couches and pool tables. Some also offer private areas for more blush-inducing services, such as hair coloring and body waxing. These kind of treatments have become more popular. Men made up 31 percent of the 111 million spa visits in the U.S. in 2006, according to the International Spa Association. That's up from 24 percent of 109 million visits in 2003.
